Group Financial Accountant - 12 month FTC

We are looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join AMFRESH on a 12 month fixed-term contract, supporting key Group Finance activity across month-end, intercompany, transactional support and audit preparation.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop within a group finance environment, with exposure to management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany processes and wider finance reporting.

As Group Financial Accountant, you will support key Group Finance activity across month-end, intercompany, transactional support and audit preparation.

You will assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, support senior finance with performance analysis, post journals including accruals, prepayments and intercompany transactions, and help ensure monthly results are submitted on time.

The role will also involve completing balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, supporting intercompany recharges, resolving discrepancies with other Group entities, and assisting with ledger queries, credit card and expense reporting, and audit documentation.

We are looking for someone with strong accounting knowledge, good attention to detail and a proactive approach.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• ACA or ACCA qualification, with a strong understanding of core accounting principles
• Or AAT, finance graduate background, or qualified by experience
• Ideally suited to someone making their first move into industry from practice
• Good working knowledge of Excel, including basic formulas and pivot tables
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• A proactive approach, with a willingness to learn
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Experience within management accounts would be advantageous
• Experience in a multi-entity environment would be beneficial
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics would be desirable
