Machine Operative - Day Shift

About The Role
We are recruiting for a Machine Operative at our Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This is a permanent, weekly-paid position, providing consistent work, reliable hours, and long-term growth opportunities within a thriving business.
- Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (07:00 - 19:30).
- Hourly Rate: £13.70 (paid weekly).
As an AMFRESH Machine Operative, you will:
- Operate machinery safely and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Complete product changeovers, including loading new packaging materials.
- Set, monitor, and optimise machine performance to hit targets.
- Report downtime, changeovers, and operational issues to the Line Leader.
- Support production line performance to meet daily customer orders.
About You
To be a successful Machine Operative, the qualities we are looking for are:
- Experience in technical, engineering, or machinery (preferred).
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Target-driven with experience meeting goals.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
