Analytical Chemistry Lead

As Analytical Chemistry Lead, you will play a central role in our Innovation Centre, delivering robust analytical insights that guide R&D and product development. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced analytical instrumentation, ensuring data integrity, and supporting innovation with precise, actionable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of experiments aligned with business and innovation needs (DOE).

• Operate and maintain analytical equipment, including HPLC and GC-MS, to assess fruit composition and quality.

• Ensure accurate calibration and upkeep of laboratory instrumentation.

• Champion health, safety, and compliance with industry and internal standards.

• Drive laboratory certification and quality accreditation processes.

• Interpret and communicate analytical results to inform R&D and product innovation.

We’re looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented analytical chemist who thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment.

Essential:

• Previous experience in an analytical laboratory (industry or academia).

• Proven expertise in HPLC, gas chromatography, and mass spectrometry.

• Strong knowledge of method development and validation.

• Familiarity with laboratory quality systems (e.g., ISO standards).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex data clearly.

• Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Science, or related field.

Desirable:

• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline.

• Experience working with fresh produce or food matrices.
