Procurement Administrator

We’re looking for an organised and accurate administrator to join our Procurement team at Alconbury.

You don’t need previous experience in procurement or fresh produce. If you have good general administration experience, are comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets, and enjoy keeping information accurate and up to date, we can teach you our systems and processes.

Working Monday–Friday, you will:

• Maintain trackers and update information relating to incoming fruit
• Enter and check pricing and cost information on our internal systems
• Process consignment paperwork accurately and on time
• Prepare information needed for supplier payments
• Liaise with colleagues in Procurement and Finance to resolve queries
• Maintain reports and performance information
• Check data carefully and highlight any discrepancies

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience in an administration or data-focused role
• Good Microsoft Excel skills, including confidently working with spreadsheets, formulas and large amounts of information
• Confidence working with numbers, pricing and cost data
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• The ability to identify errors or discrepancies in data
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication skills when resolving queries with colleagues

Experience using an ERP system such as D365, or working within procurement, finance, logistics or FMCG, would be helpful but isn’t essential. Full training on our processes will be provided.
