Machine Operative - Fixed Nights

• 6 months fixed-term contract (there may be potential for a permanent contract after).
• 46 hours per week
• £15.50 per hour

The shift pattern for this role is Sunday and Monday nights. Then Thursday to Friday Nights (19:15 - 07:15)

• Maintain the machine on one of our grapes, citrus or loose lines.
• Liaise with your Line Leader to adjust the speed of the line.
• Report and faults with the machine promptly.
• Refill the machine with customer packaging regularly ready to be packaged.
• Motivate and encourage our Production Operatives to follow best working practices.
• Advocate for health and safety at all times and report any concerns immediately.
• Ensure the machine is kept clean and tidy and ready for the next shift to use.
• Record and report the machine's performance daily to provide regular updates to the wider operational teams.

• Technical or mechanical experience (ideal).
• Experience in any production environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to work in a KPI driven environment.
• Sound numerical skills and attention to detail.
