Warehouse/PPT Operative - Fixed Nights

Full-time, weekly paid, 46 hours guaranteed per week.

6 months fixed-term contract (there may be potential for a permanent contract after).

The shift pattern for this role is Sunday and Monday nights then Thursday and Friday Nights (19:15 - 07:15)

About the role:

• You will play an integral role in continuously feeding our production lines with our fresh products by transporting them to and from the warehouse.
• You will be pivotal in keeping our production lines supplied with incoming and outgoing products.
• You will advocate for best working practices and promote food hygiene and health and safety across all operational departments. .
• Ensure that pallets are moved and stacked in a safe and risk-free manner.
• Unload and confirm arrival quantities against expected consignment reports and liaise with quality control and supply chain teams.
• You will load and unload lorries with packaging, empty pallets or trays to keep all areas tidy and free of hazards.
• You will be responsible for checking the quality of incoming stock.
• You will maintain the continuous replenishment of all packaging areas.
• You will occasionally support our Production Operatives on the line to help us deliver great results to our customers.

• Previous MHE experience, ideally PPT, but similar would also be advantageous.
• A current PPT licence is desirable, but we can offer full training.
• You are collaborative and great at communicating both with your team, and other departments.
• You are eager to get stuck in to achieve the best results.
• You have the ability to work independently at times and within a team.
• You are a strong team player who motivates and inspires a team.
• You are a quick decision maker.
