Warehouse Manager

• Use storage space & mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets & other objectives are met.
• Plan future capacity requirements in conjunction with Planning and Logistics to ensure continuous and fulfilled operation including storage and people planning.
• Owning and delivering on department KPI and picking up on trend and actioning next steps for ongoing improvements.
• Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly & monthly basis.
• Planning rotas and assign tasks appropriately and trend and appraise results.
• Ensure CI is part of the everyday thinking and function within the Warehouse
• Organise the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance, appraisal and development.

• Previous experience within a Warehousing Managerial leading role within Fresh Produce / Food Production / FMCG environment.
• Experience in operating within a KPI’s driven structure.
• Previous experience within Stock Management, control & accuracy through ERP systems.
• Numeracy and an understanding of finance for stock management,
• People management skills, including the ability to inspire, lead & motivate a team of people, delegate work & explain ideas.
• Team working skills.
• Planning and organising skills to effectively manage the flow of stock.
