About The Role

The Production Analyst will work both within the ERP system and with other available data to collate and analyse the whole Production Operations. The role will involve assessment of orders, Efficiency and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), as well as yield and giveaway.

The Production Analyst will be responsible for creating and reporting on a suite of KPIs with focus on improvement opportunities within the process.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Act in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and Health & Safety Procedures
  • Analyse and close all Works Orders (Production Orders), ensuring that the production requirements of each job align to the selected manufacturing code.
  • Assess and report on yield, loss, ‘give away’, market stock, waste and samples to provide a detailed view of material consumption.
  • Work closely with the Finance and Operational Teams to develop, and monitor the Effectiveness of the Operations, the OEE and to report on Improvement activities.
  • Support the Packaging Supervisor to review and update allocation and consumption of packaging/materials shared across multiple orders and lines.
  • Facilitate weekly and monthly stock takes with timely and detailed reporting.
  • Support Finance teams with data, reports and details as routine and as and when requested.
  • Develop and report on a suite of KPIs.
  • Maintain good housekeeping at all times in accordance with company H&S procedures.
  • Recognise the importance of this role to the daily operations and to the business.
Support all areas of the business as and when required

About You

What do you need?

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Experience in a Fresh Produce or Food environment.
  • ERP System Experience.
  • Experience in data and information analysis with relevant reporting.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, delegate tasks, and meet deadlines with a proactive and reactive approach.
  • Experience of change and development in ways of working.  
  • Positive engagement with all colleagues and a flexible approach to working.
  • Microsoft Office proficient including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding KPIs and their relevance  

Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience with Rubicon ERP systems
  • Experience of systems development
  • Stock Control/Management experience in a high volume, fast moving environment.
  • Operations Leadership to a junior level.
